I am a Lithuanian painter, Justina Gvaizdikaitė, currently living in Vilnius. My art looks into visual storytelling of human beings and their connection with themselves and the world itself. The themes that dominate in most of my paintings are all relative to relationship with inner self, accepting yourself and sometimes about loosing yourself in this fast moving modern world. Things such as social media in our fast moving world distort our perception of our inner self and we tend to becoming one of the masses. With my work I want to explore identity in the modern age and how can we return to our true inner selves.
